Waldo County FFA students had the opportunity to attend a leadership conference with other FFA chapters and FBLA chapters in the fall which was held in Augusta. The day was both informative and a lot of fun.

Stefan Lewis, Josh Littlefield and Grant Starrett attended the FFA State Convention in Orono on May 9-10. They competed in three Career Development Events: Forestry, Environment and Natural Resources, and Livestock Evaluation. The team placed third in all three events. Individual awards...

Congratulations to Alex Grover and Noah Ufkin on winning the Ford AAA regional competition this weekend in New Hampshire. In the competition students had to put their automotive skills to the test by fixing mechanical problems on their assigned Ford cars, Alex and Noah fixed their car in just under an hour. They will represent Maine next month in the national finals at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan.
