With funding from Hannafords, this after school program teams up students with a nutritionist who then helps them to prepare healthy meals. 

Highlights:

• Lessons feature hands-on learning and include group discussions with fellow participants, a nutrition educator and a volunteer chef.

• Tasty food samples are prepared by the chef and participants at each session.

• Each participant receives a free recipe book and reusable grocery bag upon completion of the program.

Every month, nominations are sought and a student is elected by LRVC instructors and staff to be the Mason Student of the Month.  Later in the month, the student and his or her family are invited to a dinner at the Masonic Lodge in Bridgton where the student is honored and receives a gift card.
