Once again, Aubuchon Hardware in Naples sponsored the always popular Tractor Races for kids ages 3-8. Pictured above with Roger LaCroix, Store Manager, are the winners in the two race categories. Mock ATV Accident - Kills 1 and Injuries 1
Traveling at a good rate of speed with a driver and passenger, a small 4-wheeler ATV went off the pavement and hit the only concrete abutment in sight. Both the rider and passenger were thrown from the vehicle, and both were injured. One of the youths died at the scene, and the other was stabilized and transported to a local hospital for further treatment. After successfully completing the Health Occupations program and the Certified Nurse Assistant requirements at Lake Region Vocational Center, six students earned their certificates and CNA pins. In a pinning ceremony held on May 27th, students celebrated their achievement with an evening ceremony followed by a reception in the Health Occupations classroom. |

The faculty at the Mid-Coast School of Technology has recognized one outstanding Student of the Month from the Introduction to Applied Technology (IAT) program.
